About Abajaba
Abajaba publishes long-form explainers on Indian listed companies — most of them small and mid-caps that get little coverage anywhere else. Each piece takes a single company or event and works through it from the beginning: what the business actually does, what the numbers say, what could go wrong, and what to watch next.
What We Cover
The focus is the part of the NSE and BSE that mainstream coverage skips. When a company few people follow reports a turnaround, wins an order book several times its revenue, or pivots into a new business entirely, that is usually worth a proper read — and usually nobody has written one. We would rather publish one thorough piece on a company you have never heard of than another summary of a headline you have already seen.
How We Work
A person chooses every subject we cover. From there, research is assembled from primary sources — exchange filings, company results and investor presentations, regulator publications and official statistics — and drafted with AI assistance into the plain-language format you see on the site. Live exchange data is pulled in at the time of writing, so the figures in a piece match what the exchange reported rather than what a secondary source repeated.
Every material claim carries a numbered citation to the source it came from, listed at the foot of each article so you can check it yourself. Where sources disagree, we say so and give both numbers instead of quietly picking one. Where a figure is unavailable or out of date, we say that too — we would rather leave a gap than fill it with an estimate presented as a fact.
What We Are Not
Abajaba is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst, and nothing here is investment advice, a recommendation, or a price target. We do not tell anyone what to buy, hold or sell, and we do not publish entry prices or targets. Every article ends by setting out what a reader might reasonably track from here — the milestones and risks that would strengthen or weaken the case — and leaves the decision where it belongs. Consult a SEBI-registered adviser before acting on anything you read here.
